IT IS STAKHOLDERS’ TIME! LOOKING FOR YOUR FEEDBACK ON OUR HANDBOOK FOR RIPARIAN FOREST MANAGEMENT AND CONSERVATION UNTIL 19 NOVEMBER

REFOCuS promised to provide guidelines for riparian forest management and conservation. We prepared a draft that was discussed during one of the online workshop organised by experts from the BFW. This draft is now ready for broader stakeholder consultation. It will be open for feedback and suggestions until 19 November 2020. THREE ONLINE STAKEHOLDER WORKSHOPS HELD IN OCTOBER

 

The workshops aimed at eliciting the feedback and contribution to topics covered in Handbook for riparian forest management and conservation, how to balance between forest management and conservation and to demonstrate DanubeForestHealth platform including training of stakeholders on how the make their contributions to the platform. dANUBEFORESTHEALTH - WHERE YOU CAN LEARN ABOUT AND CONTRIBUTE TO COLLECTING KNOWLEDGE ABOUT RIPARIAN FORESTS’ PEST AND DISEASES

 
 

Anyone can contribute to enhancing health and resilience of riparian forests in Mura-Drava-Danube Biosphere Reserve.

 

Interested in how to do it?  Or just want to learn about pests and diseases threatening our forests? DanubeForestHealth platform is a right place for You.

 

Noticed forest pests or diseases in the Biosphere Reserve? – You can help us track them by reporting their occurrence. How? It is easy.  First go to DanubeForestHealth website or download the free mobile app. We also prepared several video tutorials that You can access here. So far we collected more than 16,000 records.
