1st Danube Floodplain Webinar - Floodplain Restoration and Management Methods Discussed

 
 

The 1st Danube Floodplain (Online) Webinar was successfully held on 28 June 2021 with over 40 participants who actively participated with questions and comments to the discussion. Speakers from BOKU (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna), NARW (National Administration “Romanian Waters”) and KÖTIVIZIG (Hungary’s Middle Tisza District Water Directorate) – partners of the Danube Floodplain project and speakers from ICPDR discussed the main challenges of floodplain management and restoration and potential solutions, including the Foodplain Evaluation Method (FEM) developed within the Interreg Danube Floodplain project.
