Learning by Doing - The second seminar for ambition setting organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vratsa

The second seminar for ambition setting, held on 29.11.2017 in Vratsa was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Vratsa (PP6) together with MES- Regional Department of Education –Vratsa (PP7). The event was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, the National Agency for VET, Vratsa District administration, local stakeholders from the Youth Center, Vratsa Software Community, SMEs, other like Regional department of Education, Kyustendil, VET schools' directors from Dupnitsa, Mezdra, Vratsa, Mizia, Byala Slatina, media and parents.

The participants work in two panels – one for discussing the findings and conclusions from the first session, the presentations of MES regarding the National concept for modernization of VET system in Bulgaria, the results from the first two years of Dual education pilot actions under DOMINO project.

After the presentations followed questions and discussions regarding the legislative changes and needed capacity building, better management and planning of the vocational education process. And of course, the vision of a modernized VET system. The second panel was actually an interactive discussion on the National capacity building plan and collection of proposals for improvement the proposed measures as well as some further steps and tasks for the building the “Ideal model of VET system”.
