EcoInn Danube - COMPETITION "SOLAR DECHATLON MIDDLE EAST"

A team of students of six Belgrade faculties, on 27th of April presented the project of the solar house "Twist box", which placed them in the finals of the prestigious ecological competition "Solar Dechatlon Middle East" in Dubai.

Presentation of the project was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabić and Minstar for Innovation and Technological Development Nenad Popović, who pointed out that the state will do everything to present this project at the mentioned competition in November this year.

More than 100 students and professors from the Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, Technological, Forestry and Faculty of organizational sciences took part in the project, and the team leader and professor at the Faculty of Architecture Natasa Djukovic said that the realization of this project would be an opportunity to show Serbia a positive light in the field of innovation and science, at the same time presenting the potential that Serbia offers, but for this they need financial support without which they will not be able to follow the continuation of the competition. The final competition in Dubai to be held on 14 November will be attended by 21 teams from 14 countries, with 36 Universities and more than 100 participants.
