May 14th – 18th, 2018: Last week, MOVECO was presented at IFAT, the World’s Leading Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Waste and Raw Materials Management, in Munich, Germany.

It was a great opportunity to get in touch with stakeholders from all over the world, to get to know their wishes and needs and to promote the MOVECO project as well as circular economy in general. Besides many other interesting exhibitors, famous and important people with regard to circular economy were present at the fair. For example, Prof. Ernst Ulrich von Weizsäcker (Co-President of the Club of Rome) held a speech during the 2nd European Resource Conference which took place during the IFAT fair.

Furthermore, the German MOVECO partners the Bavarian Research GmbH (BayFOR) and the Cluster for Environmental Technology Bavaria (UCB) welcomed the project partners from Bulgaria (BCCI), Croatia (TERA), Romania (CCIBN), Slovakia (SBA) and Slovenia (CCIS, MESP) within an extended staff exchange. Besides the exchange with the UCB team, BayFOR and the other participating partners, the IFAT fair offered a great range of events, dialogues, expert discussions and much more to all attending partners.
