Learning by Doing - Facts and figures about Learning by Doing project

Learning by Doing project was initiated by Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry as Lead Partner in INTERREG Danube Transnational Programme and got financial support by the European Union. The project runs from 1 January 2017 till 30 June 2019 with toal budget of 2.3 million eur.

Project partners representing the whole 14 countries of the Danube Region: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Moldova, Montenegro,  Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.

The project aims to improve the capacities of all relevant VET actors through reinforcing regional, national and transnational partnerships in order to ease the transition towards more company- and practice oriented forms of WBL in VET in the Danube countries.

31 January, 2017 an Open Seminar which will be focused in implementation and sensitisation of VET, meantime highlighting the gap widening between supply and demand for skilled manpower, disparity of skills and market needs, shortage of and mismatch between skills and qualifications, the rigid mindsets and low motivation to get enrolled in VET and unemployment problem and VET linkages.

The kick-off meeting session will be 1-2 February, 2017. in premises of the lead partner, Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
