Web and mobile app for sharing bicycles in the Czech cities.

Project of Rekola was created in 2013 when bicycles couldn´t be borrowed by everyone. It was primarily focused on sharing of reused bicycles. In the first year were in Prague 40 pieces of Rekola that used 360 people. After 3 years it was used by 2000 people. Since 2017 Rekola become a limited liability company. In 2018 Rekola operates in 10 Czech cities (Prague, Brno, Pardubice, Ceske Budejovice, Hradec Kralove, Olomouc, Teplice, Liberec, Ostrava and Frydek–Mistek).

A bicycle is rented by Rekola app or SMS one-time or with a monthly or year subscription. After registration is found the nearest bicycle and is unlocked for using. When you finished a ride you have to lock the bike to the nearest suitable place (regular stands or railing). Bycycles can be returned anywhere in the pink zone marked in the application, which usually covers a significant part of the city. All Rekola are characterized by their pink colour.
