This autumn (September and October.) in Vukovar Srijem County was held Danube Guide Course. It was organized in four modules and every module lasts for three days. On this Course were 14 participants for which two Danube Guide Trainers, who past Course for trainers in April in Austria, held presentations. Also on three of these four modules Christian Baumgartner, person responsible for Danube Guide activities, was guest.

14 participants attended Danube Guide Course and at the end pass the exam and get confirmation from Vukovar Srijem County about passing this Course. Participants get to knows about many different topics such as: History of Danube region, Sustainable development, Ecosystem, People with special needs, Sustainable mobility, Product development, Marketing and Communication and many other.

On third day of every module field day was organized and new Danube Guides saw on real example what tourist offer exist in this area of Vukovar Srijem County. They visit: Museum of Vučedol Culture in Vukovar, had a boat ride on tourist boat “Bajadera” on the Danube, visit nature park “Kopački rit”, had a boat ride on tourist boat “sv. Katarina” in Municipality Nijemci and visit protected landscape “Virovi” near the city of Otok.
