Dear Partners, colleagues and friends,

We would like to announce that the 5th "Transport and Research in the Danube Region" conference will be held on the 13th-14th November, 2018 in Ljubjana, Slovenia. 

This year the conference get the "Batteries between today and tomorrow" title, as the organizers decided to put the batteries in the focus of the conference, which are in the very heart of the e-mobility. There will be two round tables, first will deal with research in the field of batteries, and the second with the use of batteries in all different aspects of mobility. 

The actual EU framework research programme HORIZON2020 in entering the last period. We are pleased to announce that Mr. Jean-Francois Aguinaga, Head of Unit for Surface Transports DG RTD from the European Commission will present the first outlines of the new programme HORIZON EUROPE - the next research and innovation framework programme.
