ZRC SAZU coworkers presented our Catalog of Good Practices for Urban Participatory Agriculture at the press conference of the ZRC SAZU Publishing House in Ljubljana on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. The catalogue joined 23 authors from Slovenia, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania and Montenegro who explained what urban agriculture is, analyzed the policy framework that supports it, and reviewed the European programs and projects they are developing it. The most extensive part of the catalogue brings analysis of urban gardens based on the participation of inhabitants or specific vulnerable groups and positively affecting the improvement of public services and sustainable urban development.
