Policies and legislative framework for reducing pollution in river transport

30 participants, representatives of national authorities, sectoral agencies, ship-owners, private businesses, environment protection organizations & other stakeholders relevant to inland water transport and environmental protection, were brought together to make an analysis of existing policies and the national and European legislative framework to reduce air pollution from inland waterway transport.

The aim of the meeting was to identify recommendations for policy directions, measures, actions and future steps in national and European environmental policies.
