Regional workshop organized in Halászi, Hungary

Our project partner Westpannon Nonprofit Ltd. from Hungary organized the second regional workshop in Halászi on 10 December 2018. Altogether around 15 stakeholders from Szigetköz region participated in the event. 

The main goal of the workshop was to present the outcomes of the EuroVelo 6 route assessment with a special focus on the regional results and findings. The assessment is part of the project Transdanube.Pearls. For this purpose, an expert team cycled along the EuroVelo 6 route and assessed the route conditions, infrastructure and existing offers.

Besides, Christine Zopf-Renner from the Austrian partner, the Regionalmanagement Burgenland was invited to present mobility offers and opportunities in Burgenland. The goal was to create synergies and knowledge exchange between the two neighbouring regions.
