On Decemebr 21st, the finals of the first competition for the best technological innovation for high school students and students were held in the festive hall of the Electrical Engineering School "Mihajlo Pupin" in Novi Sad.

The competition for the best technological innovation, organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development for 14 years, together with the competition "From Invention to Innovation", organized the finals, which were attended by 6 high school and 2 student teams.

Each team had 10 minutes to present the innovation. They were judged by a six-member jury headed by Radovan Zivkovic, head of the secondary vocational education group at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development. In the afternoon of the finals, one representative of each team had the task of presenting innovation in 60 seconds. When the jury evaluated it, final results were obtained and winners by subcategories are:

Sphere2Scann, Kragujevac - The best student team at NTI
MatMost, Pancevo - The best high school team at FTI
Carpet Industry, Kikinda – The best Team in the "From Invention to Innovation" Competition.

Even before the finals were held, a competition for the Best Technological Innovation Competition for 2019 for high school and student teams was opened. The deadline for applications is December 31st.
