Sarajevo Regional Development Agency SERDA organized event on High Performance Computing for Effective Innovation in the Danube Region, held on 27th December 2018 in Sarajevo.

The aim of 7th InnoHPC Regional Workshop  was  to promote DTP INNOHPC project and its achievements so far, as well to discuss with the representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovinaʽs industry, academia, policy makers on need and importance on high performing computing in this country.

The focus of the event was on the current state with the HPC in BiH in comparation with the EU and neighbouring countries, as well the state of the industry 4.0. in BiH.

Representatives of SME, industry, IT professionals and representatives of education sector share their experiences and views on HPC in BiH today. Some problems have been identified and some solutions have been proposed during fruitful discussions. Importance of transnational cooperation in this area, made possible by the Interreg Danube Program, was highlighted.
