The Lead Partner, Regional Government of Lower Austria, of the DBS Gateway Region project has the pleasure to kindly invite you to participate at the Kick-Off Conference on 22 March 2017 in Sofija, Bulgaria.

The conference will take place in the Hotel Best Western Expo Sofia (http://www.hotelexposofia.com/en/) , 149 Tsarigradsko Shose Blv., Sofia, 1784, Bulgaria.

The DBS (Danube-Black Sea) Gateway Region project gathers ten partners and 20 associated strategic partners from ten Danube riparian countries aiming at:

• creating a basis for cooperation (Joint Vision 2040 and Joint Cooperation Strategy) between stakeholders in order to be able to work together towards the development of the DBS Gateway Region on the basis of a Roadmap and Regional Action Plans
• increasing the attractiveness of the waterway transport system in the DBS region
• facilitating long-term cooperation of all key actors (Danube and Black Sea ports, port´s associations, public authorities, business agencies, universities, enterprises, freight forwarders and other strategic actors) within an institutionalised cooperation platform

At the Kick-Off Conference the general presentation about the DBS Gateway Region project will be complemented by a panel discussion of representatives of target groups.
