In the framework of the project ResInfra@DR, the Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI) and Horia Hulubei National Institute for Physics and Nuclear Engineering (IFIN-HH) organized on May 6 -7, 2019 the external experts’ working visit at Extreme Light Infrastructure – Nuclear Physics (ELI-NP) in Magurele. This working visit is part of the ResInfra@DR pilot activity 2 regarding the support in designing/developing of the Nuclear Medicine Center at IFIN-HH/ELI-NP. The activity focused on the presentation of the NucMed project and the activities already undertaken, the existing facilities and the way in which these could serve the NucMed Center as well as the challenges in designing the Center. Furthermore, it focused on potential business models, the operation mode of the NucMed Center and technology transfer. This event was attended by the representatives of ELI-NP and IFIN HH and the project team.

The core element of the support action will consist of providing specific recommendations and suggestions by the external experts on steps that need to be undertaken in order to develop the Nuclear Medicine Center within the “Horia Hulubei” National Institute for research and Development for Physics and Nuclear Engineering and ELI-NP.
