VISIT TO THE KUTINA TECHNICAL SCHOOL IN CROATIA

On the occasion of the International Day of Biodiversity and the Day of Nature Protection in the Republic of Croatia (22 May 2019), the Kutina Technical School invited Lonjsko Polje Nature Park Public Institution on 23 May 2019 to hold lectures about impact of invasive alien species on biodiversity.

The lecture was organized for two school classes in the school library. During one school hour students were informed about Lonjsko polje Nature Park, biodiversity and invasive species in the area of  Lonjsko polje Nature Park. Special emphasis was on the Sava TIES project: „Preserving Sava River Basin Habitats through Transnational management of Invasive Alien Species“.
