Danube Floodplain - Project was presented at the Annual Scientific Conference of the National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management, Bucharest

On 19 - 20 November 2019, the Annual Scientific Conference of the National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management (NIHWM) took place in Bucharest with the theme: “Hydrology and water management - from tradition to interdisciplinary approaches”.

The Conference was organized by NIHWM with the support of the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests and the National Administration “Romanian Waters” (NARW) and was held at the National Forestry Registry – ROMSILVA.

The Annual Scientific Conference of the National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management has a long tradition and at this event were present more than 100 scientists and researchers from the field of hydrology, water management, ecology and hydrogeology. Also were present academics, professors and collaborators and representatives of the central public authorities with attributions in the field of water.

As a dissemination activity of the project, some of the team members from the NIHWM and NARW participated the annual conference with a poster presenting some preliminary results of the Danube Floodplain project.
