Approaching social problems in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Although social entrepreneurship offers solutions to many social problems, especially to the problems of high unemployment and social exclusion, in Bosnia and Herzegovina is still not given enough attention.

Yet there are structures and organizations that are dedicated to solving social problems, such as CDP "Globus". Its purpose is to promote and encourage the development of social entrepreneurship through:

*research, education, counseling and direct support programs on a non-profit basis;

*advocating for the establishment and development of an institutional and legislative framework;

*raising the level of social responsibility, entrepreneurial culture and ethics in the community and society.

Contribution to the development of knowledge and awareness about importance of social entrepreneurship will be made through introduction of InnoSchool Serious Game (an innovative educational system) in secondary education in Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Project „Strengthening social innovation and entrepreneurial spirit of secondary schools’ students by using highly innovative Learning System“  is financed through EU Interreg Danube Transnational Programme. InnoSchool tackles the need for system change to support weak entrepreneurial culture and low engagement to social innovation and entrepreneurship.
