Development Agency of the Republic of Srpska organized on 01.12.2020 the first online meeting of the Advisory Group within the project eDigiStars. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship of Republic Srpska, Ministry of Labor War Veterans and Disabled Person’s Protection, Employment Office of the Republic Srpska, Chamber of Commerce of Republic Srpska, Innovation Center Banja Luka, The City Development Agency Banja Luka, Regional Chamber of Commerce Banja Luka, Union of Employers Association’s of Republic of Srpska, The Alliance of National Minorities of the Republic of Srpska and a representative of the elderly population.

The draft of the joint Danube macro-regional eDigiStars strategy was presented at the meeting, which aims to create changes at the local as well as at the macro-regional level regarding the reintegration of older people into the labor market through the construction of digital skills. The strategy is based on national and territorial inputs, scientific literature and EU strategic documents. One of the key elements of the strategy is to identify how relevant territorial actors can strengthen and adapt training systems for older people both in the partner countries and in the wider Danube region.
