The Dare to Connect project is based on use of geographical informaton systems. Thus, it is inevitable to master GIS in order to work with and present outputs of the project. So, as a part of the DaRe to Connect project implementation, Public Institution for the Management of Protected Parts of Nature and Ecological Network of Virovitica-Podravina County in cooperation with Prehnit d.o.o. company from Zagreb, conducted the first part of the Geographic Information System Service training on November 19 and 20, 2020. The training was held at the Drava story Visitor centre in Noskovci and it was attended by 10 people - all three members of the D2C project team, employees of the Public Institution and external associates. With a two-day training, the participants successfully mastered the introduction to QGIS. The advanced QGIS training is scheduled for January 2021.
