Rediscover project is happy to announce that the partnership just published a joint cookbook to promote Jewish gastronomic values. This book, entitled REDISCOVER COOKBOOK – Adventures in the Jewish Gastronomy of the Danube Region, features recipes which were proposed by the partners and are still prepared by members of their local Jewish communities. From it, one can learn how to prepare Hallah a classic festival bread, Shakshuka an Isreali version of ratatouille or Hanukah Halva.

All recipes are inspired by one of the project partners including a list of ingredients, instuction for preparation and duration, hints ans tips, suggestions for serving and beautiful, tasteful pictures.

The Rediscover Cookbook is devided into 3 parts: simple dishes, classic dishes and desserts. At the end, one can learn more about the project partner cities and their history.

Those who are interested in Jewish gastronomy will catch an exciting glimpse of the Jewish culinary heritage of the Danube region. The recipe collection is appropriate for all those who cook regularly or occasionally and want to broaden their horizons to make their cooking more varied and colourful.

The Rediscover Cookbook was created by Szeged and Surroundings Tourism Non-profit Ltd. with association of all project partners. The project is co-funded by European Union funds (ERDF, IPA).
