On the occasion of the World Wetland Day on 2 February 2021 and the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Ramsar Convention, the D2C project partner Public Institution for the Management of Protected Parts of Nature and Ecological Network of Virovitica-Podravina County created a special memory set on this year’s topic Inseparable: Water, Wetlands and Life. Template was proposed by IUCN, worldwetlandsday.org.

Each memory set contains of 40 cards (20 pairs) made of environmentally friendly material placed in the illustrated storage box. With this innovative method of communication, out attention is directed to the one of the most important target groups in the Green Belt area:  children.

Learning by doing – and especially learning by playing – is the most effective method of acquiring knowledge.
