FOLLOW-UP ACTIVITIES OF PROJECT NEW AGE

Agency for economic development of City of Prijedor „PREDA-PD“ in cooperation with Mechanic School from Prijedor and Technical School from Tesanj implemented project  „NEW AGE is starting!”. The project`s focus was on using  technical skills and innovation of students for creation of functional solutions dedicated to special categories of people. During the project implementation, students developed patent-self illuminated walking cane for elderly people.

Even though project „NEW AGE“ completed four years-ago, this great story got its epilog when ex-students of Technical School from Tesanj, during their studies in Slovenia, developed the app „Elder–E“. It was designed to be at the usage of the employees of elderly people centers as well as for elderly people staying in centers and for their families. The App consists segments for managing patient data, digital medication insight, approved food managing. These follow-up activities of the project „NEW AGE“ have a great impact on social innovation referring to categories of intervention chosen in the project „InnoSchool“: using digital transformation for improving life of the elderly.
