On September 6th, 2021, in the premises of the Slovenian Forestry Institute (GIS) in Ljubljana, a First-Year Review and Third  Steering Committee meetings were organized. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, the meetings were organized as hybrid events (partly live, partly online). For partners who attended the meetings live in Ljubljana, this was the first opportunity to finally meet each other in person.

The project leader Nike Krajnc welcomed the project coordinator from JTS and all partners present at the meeting and presented the agenda of activities.

At the First Year Review meeting, each work package leader provided an overview of the activities that are done until now. The management, technical work packages (T1-T4), communications, and financial aspects of the project were discussed. The general insight is that activities of the Fem4Forest project progress as they are expected, with minor and insignificant delays and success in all work packages.

A detailed overview of the activities followed. During this part of the event, each work package leader presented plans for all the outputs and deliverables in the next period (until December 2021).

At the Steering Committee meeting, partners voted and agreed on various technical and concrete work modifications with the aim to structure their work in the most effective way and achieve Fem4Forest objectives.

The next project meeting is foreseen for January 2022 and will take place in Croatia. Until then, the whole Fem4Forest team eagerly awaits and shares our next activities!
