With the end of 2021 comes the end of the third Fem4Forest project period. In the previous six months, the Fem4Forest partnership worked continuously on the following: 

• Demand-driven action plan to increase the competence of women in the forestry sector,
• Innovative approaches for reducing gender disparities.

The produced outputs are: 

• Report on “Collected needs of women and wider gender perspective in forestry sector”,
• Transnational Innovation Roadmap,
• Transnational guidelines for empowering women in forestry,
• Transnational Awareness-raising campaign,
• Training and mentoring program for women in forestry,
• Transnational gender reflected guidelines,
• Transnational Awareness Raising Campaign Model,
• A booklet and fact-sheets “Facts and Figuresregarding women in forestry in Danube region”.

The next six months are bringing to us more detailed activities tailored to the needs of each county in the Danube region and we cannot wait to share gathered knowledge with you. Stay tuned!
