DanubeĀ“s Archaeological eLandscapes - The partnership interacted with the creative industry during the industry forum

14-02-2022

The partnership interacted with the creative industry during industry forums and represented a new approach to the heritage sector.

The MuseumDigit Konferencia 2021 program was designed with many accompanying online events in Budapest and the Hungarian National Museum.

The industry forums encourage collaboration between developers/providers of new digital solutions, curators/managers of archaeological heritage and policymakers. The main goal of these events, which started in the Hungarian National Museum and which were organized as a combination of expo, round tables and presentations, is to ensure knowledge transfer in the Danube region and its competitiveness.

For example, the Danube Archaeological eLandscapes project and the Iron Age Danube Route were presented at the MuseumDigit Konferencia 2021 conference through the Industrial Forum program series. The session "Dig It All: Digital Technologies for the Visualization of Cultural Heritage" connected the archaeological heritage, the modern digitization techniques and the tourism aspects of this heritage.

Highlights of the joint MuseumDigit 2021 and Industry Forum Hungary conference. Exhibitors, speakers, discussion rounds - and much more was how to build connections between digitization and museums!

“The Danube`s Archaeological eLandscape project partners ended the 1st Creative Industry Forum with a big smile under their Covid masks. Of course, work to establish standards for digital technologies for visualizing archaeological heritage has only just begun. On behalf of the organizing team, we would like to thank the participants on-site and outside for their good cooperation and wish the expert group every success in their work.
