On June 25, a museum picnic took place in Lussonium, offering a colourful programme palette for visitors from Paks and the surrounding settlements. In addition to the Paks City Museum, the Atomic Energy Museum, the city library, and the gallery also were present with various activities reminiscent of the Roman era. Legionary parades and scientific and educational lectures and presentations enriched the programme. Families and children could collect stamps at the stations of the different organising institutions, for which they received a gift package from the museums. Visitors could taste ancient foods and try traditional crafts or games. The event ended with an evening concert.

We were happy to tell visitors how our project contributes to making our Roman heritage more visible and protecting our shared cultural heritage. Those interested could also try an ancient Roman board game with us.
