Dear all.

We kindly invite you to pilot training within the project Media Literacy for Active Citizenship and Sustainable Democracy (MELIA Observatory ), which will take place in October 2022. It is a project that takes place within the framework of the Transnational Danube Program. It is intended to establish an observatory of media literacy in the Danube region, which will be based on the involvement of all relevant stakeholders.

The project consortium consists of twenty-three partners (sixteen project partners and seven affiliates) from the Danube region. The observatory will serve as a mechanism for strengthening people's civic competencies, which will contribute to the development of democracy in the region. As part of the project, we will prepare instruments for analyzing media content, teaching tools and political recommendations for upgrading media literacy in connection with other civic skills.

Pilot training aimed at testing the learning tools that were developed within the project. With this, we will check their usefulness, as well as the possibilities for improvement. Everyone can take part in education, especially those who work with young people in the framework of formal and informal
forms of education.

Workshops will take place in two sessions in OCTOBER 2022:

·       Workshop on October 5, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. and the second, continuation,

·       Workshop on October 28, 2022, at 9:30 a.m

The meetings will take place in Ljubljana, in the premises of the Faculty of Applied Social Studies, Leskoškova 9e, 1000 Ljubljana, and at the same time via ZOOM address, which will be communicated to registrants later. Individual gatherings should not last more than three hours.
