In the framework of the project "DANOVA - Innovative transportation services for blind and partially-sighted passengers in Danube Region", ENI-MD PP2-TUM (Technical University of Moldova), in collaboration with the Association of the Blind from Moldova, assisted by experts from the Office of the United Nations Organization for Human Rights from Moldova and Medical-Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Low Sight "LOW VISION" organized an educational training entitled "Approach and Communication with People with Visual Impairments".

The training was aimed at entities that serve the passenger terminal of the Chisinau International Airport. In that sense, training attendees were the employees of the companies "Avia-Invest" SRL, which was also one of the organizers, and "Airport-Handling" SRL, as well as the state authorities - the General Inspectorate of the Border Police and the Customs Service.

The event took place on 20 October 2022 and consisted of three modules, aimed at improving knowledge and approach to blind and visually impaired people, taking into account the aspect of prejudices and stereotypes.
