EcoInn Danube partner Digitális Jólét Nonprofit Kft organised their first national stakeholder meeting at Berekfürdő in Hungary. The meeting took place as part of the Association of Environmental Enterprises (KSZGYSZ) Annual Meeting. The meeting was organised in the format of an informal roundtable discussion led by a moderator.  Participants were members of the Association of Environmental Enterprises (KSZGYSZ) and included representatives of SMEs providing services in the environmental protection and green sectors.

The focus of the discussion was the theme of digital solutions for eco-problems. Topics discussed included the real-time  monitoring of groundwater quality using connected sensors, automatisation of factories taking into consideration energy use, recycling of multi-layered plastic packaging and obtaining value from electronic -waste.  

Specific eco-innovation needs expressed by the group included: required developments in plastic packaging, especially for food any hygiene products, smart monitoring of ground moisture content for agriculture, smart solutions for reuse of deposited waste and waste mining.
