training b successfully held in tara national park, serbia
The Training B was organized from March 12, 2018 to March 16, 2018 in Tara National park. Almost 40 participants had a chance to enter into a new stage of capacity building within the ECO KARST project. This was the second of total 4 planned trainings, aiming at the capacity building of ECO KARST partners in the area of new methodologies for the ecosystem services assessment, mapping and economic valuation. "vielfalter" - idea contest in kalkalpen national park area
The Kalkalpen National park, in collaboration with regional initiatives and private Scheuchfoundation, organized a competition to promote sustainable entrepreneurship and economic development in the region while exploiting the potential of the National park. The goal of this competition was to find new ideas, products and services in connection with nature and national park, to profesionally develop and market it. Read more
the third steering committee meeting held in hungary
The 3rd Steering Comittee meeting was organized from February 19 to February 22, 2018 in the Bükk National park, Hungary. The event gathered all project partners from 9 countries, who performed the first year project review and discussed the plans for the future. On this occasion, Mr. Gusztáv Csomor, a Project Officer from the Danube Transnational Programme joined the ECO KARST team for a discussion on the project progress, experienced challenges and delays.
