Two years have flown by since the start of EDU-LAB and the project has now entered into its 5th, and last period. The final conference "Better Chances for Young People", taking place in Zagreb on 16-17 May, will provide the opportunity to celebrate the results reached and working together. Below, you can read more about the upcoming final conference and what we have been up to during winter.

EDU-LAB Final conference "Better chances for young people", 16-17 May 2019
Save the date for EDU-LAB`s final event!
The conference entitled "Better Chances for Young People" is going to be held in Zagreb between 16-17 May, under the auspices of the Minister of Science and Education and the Minister of Labour and Pension Systems of the Republic of Croatia. The event is organised by the EDU-LAB partnership and is open for a wide range of stakeholders.
Even though EDU-LAB in its form is coming to an end, sustainability has been a crucial goal since the beginning. The highlight of the event will be the signing of the “Danubian Charter for Young Talents”, which intends to guarantee that the project has long-term effects in the region. Possibilites for further cooperation will be discussed as well.
Registration will open in March. Stay tuned for more information!
Conference on dual education in belgrade, 15 january 2019
The Institute Mihajlo Pupin (University of Belgrade) and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised a conference entitled “Dual Education in Higher Education - Challenges and Possibilities“ on January 15th 2019 in Belgrade, Serbia. Participants discussed the EDU-LAB pilot activities in Serbia and opportunities in professionally-oriented study programmes.
“PEOPLE AND SKILLS” INTERNATIONAL STAKEHOLDER CONFERENCE IN VIENNA, 29 NOVEMBER 2018
Several partners of the EDU-LAB project attended the "People and Skills" International Stakeholder Conference held in Vienna in November. The focus of the event was discussing education and employment policies, and providing inputs for the revision of the current EU Strategy for the Danube Region.

The EDU-LAB partnership consortium met in Kecskemét, Hungary in December to discuss activities related to Work Package 5 "Training and capacity". The meeting was hosted by EDU-LAB partner John von Neumann University.
The 3rd call for proposals in the Danube Transnational Programme (DTP) is now open! DTP aims to enhance territorial cooperation as well as social and economic development in the Danube region in specific policy fields.The application period closes on 8 March at 14:00. Read more...
