The debate will be focused on the question how energy efficiency, future electrical energy for the future, energy sources utilization, intelligent buildings, energy management and ICT in energy applications can be used. The speakers will present their opinion on the future of energy sector and how it can be influenced by Energy 4.0. They will also present their research activities and real applications development focused on Energy 4.0 target areas.

The identified challenges (IT security issues, protection of industrial know - how, lack of adequate skill - sets, and threat of redundancy of the corporate IT department) will be mentioned. Representatives of the industry and SMEs are invited to contribute to discussion on topical issues such as the need for more qualified employees, new jobs created in the energy sector and the cooperation with the academic world.
