GREEN DANUBE - In a UN panel on environment

The Regional Environmental Center was a co-organizer of the event of ’Regional Multi-stakeholder Consultations for Europe in preparation for the 2017 UN Environment Assembly’ held on 9-10 November 2017 in Hungary, in REC premises.

During this important meeting, Mr. Péter Szuppinger, REC’s expert in the GREEN DANUBE project, was invited to take part in a panel where he talked about the complexity of the problem of pollution and mentioned the GREEN DANUBE project as a good example, where pollution is treated in its complexity, taking into account transport, air quality and biodiversity aspects as well.
