DanubeSediment - Sediment Monitoring Workshop discusses project results and good practice on 18/04/2018

26-03-2018

The ACDP is a plastic sled that has sediment measurement instruments attached to the top side. Aquiring knowledge about sediment processes is the first step towards restoring the sediment balance in the Danube River. Experts from the field of sediment monitoring are invited to participate in the Sediment Monitoring Workshop on April 18th, 2018 in Budapest at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). The workshop will build upon current project results in the field of sediment monitoring: sediment data collection, a comparative analysis as well as the harmonization of data obtained with different sediment monitoring.

The aim of the workshop is to bring together experts from the field of sediment monitoring and to provide knowledge about the good practices for sediment monitoring techniques. For more information see the agenda [download].
