On October 8th, 2018, the DRIM project was presented to the participants of the regional conference on regional competitiveness and the importance of statistics and innovation in the region of SEE. As a partner in a previous migration-related project of the South-East Europe Transnational Programme SEEMIG: Managing Migration and its Effects in South-East Europe: Transnational Actions Towards Evidence-Based Strategies, that addressed the role of evidence-based and enhanced datasets and empirical evidence on migration and related demographic, human capital and economic issues, ZRC SAZU deemed it important to link the issues of evidence-based data to the issue of access to information and the ability of public officials to provide reliable and understandable information. For this reason, both SEEMIG and DRIM projects were presented as strategic projects for the region by Sanja Cukut Krilić, DRIM project member.
