Every year, the European Commission awards those EU-funded projects, which demonstrate excellence and new approaches in regional development. Between 19th of February and 9th of May projects can submit the applications. 

This year projects can run for the award in 5 categories: 

• promoting digital transformation;
• connecting the green, blue and grey;
• combatting inequalities and poverty;
• building climate-resilient cities;
• modernising health services.

Up to 5 projects per programme can participate on whatever category. In this regards, we kindly ask those interested DTP projects to send the filled in application form in Word by 12th of April to the Joint Secretariat. The JS will select the best 5 applications to be finally submitted (by the official deadline of 9th May) with input, in order to get more chances to win.

We hope to repeat, or even to improve last year result. In the previous edition one of the Danube Transnational Programmes - Iron Age Danube - was one of the finalists in the category: Investing in cultural heritage.
