In the beautiful ZION Synagogue Oradea, recently renovated Art Nouveau building, Municipality of Oradea welcomed esteemed guests thus promoting and honouring the achievements of the Art Nouveau project. The closing event of the project was a professional gathering which was open by addressing the most interesting and pressing aspects of revitalization of Art Nouveau monuments in urban settings, especially the central areas of big European cities. Urban policies aimed to densify and revitalise the historical centers in Paris and Barcelona – an Art Nouveau perspective and Reloading central areas – historical centres of European cities. During the second part, the guests could hear about the achievements and results of the project in three presentations: Presentation of the experiences from the project implementation - General overview of the project results; Strategic document and action plan on the protection and promotion of Art Nouveau heritage in the Danube region and Study on Art Nouveau building decorations. Members of interested general public also attended the closing conference and discussed matters with the presenters.
