Sarajevo International Airport (PP13-MAS) presented the DANOVA project on Thursday, the 10th of December 2020. The aim of DANOVA is to improve the accessibility of airports, seaports, bus and train stations for blind and partially sighted passengers. According to some estimates, there are about 5,000 visually impaired people in BiH.

The MAS has the obligation to contribute to the fight against all forms of discrimination and to create conditions for social inclusion, equal participation and overall affirmation in the community for people with all types of disabilities.

Representatives of several associations representing blind and partially sighted people from all parts of BiH attended the conference. They gave their suggestions and opinions on solutions for improving the accessibility of traveling for blind and partially sighted people and will continue to do so during the project implementation.
