GENERAL ASSEMBLY 4 IN VIRTUAL SPACE, ORGANIZED BY SOCIAL CLUSTER ASSOCIATION, HUNGARY

The meeting took place online, via Zoom platform during two very interesting and intense days of presentations and discussions, bringing together in the first day the partners from the project and in the second day the project partners and important stakeholders. In the first day the representatives of the workpackages presented their results.

In the second day, on behalf of WHO, Szabolcs Szigeti gave an overview of WHO activities to support the design of national dementia strategies including the WHO recommendations on developing dementia strategies, the dementia observatory and the “iSupport for dementia” course.

The second day contained also some considerations regarding developments towards a dementia strategy in Hungary made by Attila Beneda, as well as the ceremonial handover of the policy recommendations and a roundtable on project sustainability. A special remark - DTP project officer Johannes Gabriel highlighted that INDEED is a great success from the perspective of the DTP.

"Moving ahead" was another important item on the agenda, where Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Slovenia underlined their plans for the future.
