Our project partners met on March 10th at the 7th SCOM meeting, which this time took place virtually.

Main aims of the meeting were:

• to discuss the draft Amazing AoE development Strategy,
• to select vision and mission for the Amazing AoE destination,
• to discuss the Amazing AoE Marketing plan,
• to present the plan for Social-media promotion,
• to present the plan for Explorer tour implementation, 
• to discuss slogans and key visuals for the Amazing AoE.

At the meeting, a voting process for the selection of vision and mission for the Amazing AoE Destination was implemented. First, four options of visions and missions were presented to all partners. The presentation was followed by a 1st round of voting where each Zoom participant was able to submit a vote for two selected options. Based on the results of the 1st voting, two most voted options were selected. In the 2nd round of voting each Zoom participant had a chance to vote for one of the two most popular options from round 1. Based on the results from the 2nd voting process, the following vision and mission were selected:

Vision 1: A leading sustainable cross border tourism destination, preserving the natural and cultural heritage and inviting its explorers to slow down along the mighty rivers, reconnect with nature and recharge their batteries through amazing local stories.

Mission 1: We will achieve this through acting as one destination, which will enable us to implement green economic and socialy sustainablele projects, give back to nature (ensure nature conservation) and rise awareness internally and externally about the unique undiscovered riverine destination in the first UNESCO 5-country biosphere reserve in the world, where health and nature are always the priority.

It was a useful and successful meeting for progress of our project.
