World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought is a unique moment to remind ourselves that combatting drought is achievable through proactive problem solving, strong community involvement and co-operation at all levels.

​DriDanube is putting stakeholder involvement among the highest priorities right from its beginning. All 10 involved countries are organizing national briefing seminars to raise interest in the issue of drought combatting and to form cooperation platforms.
