YOUMIG - CAPITALISATION ACTIVITIES AT DTP LP SEMINAR

03-07-2017

Subjects addressed at a DTP 1st call Lead Partner seminar held in Budapest on June 28 included capitalisation. YOUMIG, as pole leader for Thematic Pole 10 on Migration and Inclusive Government, attended the session and joined other panellists in speaking about its own cooperation practices and ideas for tapping on capitalisation benefits. YOUMIG’s partners under the Danube Transnational Cooperation Programme Capitalisation Strategy, TP10, are the projects DRIM and RARE, and the LP seminar gave an opportunity for representatives of the three projects to meet and discuss capitalisation strategy.

In preparation for a Joint DTP-EUSDR Annual Forum 2017 to be held in October, YOUMIG, DRIM and RARE partners discussed ways in which shared project focuses, such as challenges in local migration administration and access to the labour market, can be exploited under capitalisation efforts. For instance, cooperation had already been conceived in the form of plans to integrate DRIM's main tool, the Danube Compass Information Platform, into YOUMIG's one-stop-shop pilot scheme for migrant integration, under the coordination of the Municipality of Maribor, Slovenia.
